Bali, yes, you can! And we now have four fantastic resorts, with two in our funky new brand, Cross Collection. Singapore Airlines, Jetstar, Scoot and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines already have flights on-route, and the 30-day Visa on arrival is back. Following Covid-19 PCR testing, you can again discover Bali's tropical delights for fully vaccinated travellers.
Thailand is 'Hot to Trot'. From 1 April, no pre-arrival testing; take a PCR test on arrival, and you are free to zip along, just an antigen self-test on Day 5. Happy days, the 'land of smiles' has blossomed and is even more stunning.

Away - Stepping Up to a Greener Future
Eco-caring is an integral part of what our Away properties are all about. Sustainability and eco-friendly living is a huge part of our ethos, and we continually strive to implement strategies to reduce our impact on the environment.
We are already fully committed to 'Every Drop Counts'. The United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 6 is to ensure access to water and sanitation for all. Droughts and flooding rains are becoming more frequent with climate change and environmental degradation. You can join in to help us to save water and reduce waste.
Our ongoing initiative is "Straw No More" across all our resorts and aims to help reduce global water pollution and marine life depletion. A cocktail spoon will be offered in our restaurants, bars, and banquet events instead of plastic straws.
Technology will also help now and into the future. One such initiative we are trialling at four Away and Cross properties is using European designed SuitePad tablets for in-room use. The tablets will act as a digital guest directory, enabling guests to access essential hotel services, including F&B ordering, laundry services, in-room entertainment, control of room cleaning services and all-important information for the hotel and surrounding areas. Guests can also book additional activities via the tablet, such as spa treatments, rounds of golf and more. They also add a layer of safety for guests by reducing 'paper' touchpoints and aiding ease of in-room cleaning.
Other initiatives include using glass bottles instead of plastic, eco-caring amenities with paper wrapping and bamboo amenities. Where possible, we use fresh produce from our backyard garden in restaurants and bars, while waste management and reduction are a continuing focus behind the scenes.
