Dust off the passport and revel in our unique and fun-filled holiday destinations. Wanderslusters, with their heart set on a seaside retreat, may find the Beach House Legian Bali hard to beat.

Read on to fulfil your yearnings and learn more about the upcoming International Chefs Day.

Here are some irresistible and tantalising choices to indulge your desires.

Wanna party? Raz it up at Itz Time Hua Hin

Seriously, our pool villas were specially designed for party razzle-dazzle. But do you really need a reason to eat, drink and be merry?

Having a birthday bash? A year-end shebang? Some sneaky romantic canoodling? School's out, and wanna play? Or 'Girls just want to have fun', as Cyndi Lauper sings.

Our one and two-bedroom villas are perfect for couples and small gatherings. The two levels villas have a self-contained kitchen, cushy lounging areas, and a chic contemporary ambience. Outdoors, the refreshing swimming pool and lush green walls provide privacy, intimacy and a natural vibe.

Are you looking for the ultimate party pad? Playful, Joyful and Blissful Villas are spacious with three bedrooms and a bubbling jacuzzi, big enough for the whole party. You can even add more bubbles - not champagne, but soapy bubbles. The large swimming pool is a favourite for cooling off and playing silly games like pool noodle relays, pool volleyball or the old favourite Marco Polo.

Each villa has its own kitchen. BYO drinks so you can party on and snacks for grazing when you're hungry. Or order the crowd-pleasing Succulent Seafood BBQ featuring freshly caught seafood, tender meats and other treats.

Do you want us to take care of everything for you? Our culinary team can create a deliciously tailored menu, take care of decorations, and provide music and entertainment to keep you razzing the day and night. Hankering for Karaoke? Just ask!

Like a late breakfast? Itz Time Café offers all-day Breakfast and great choices of Thai and international cuisine in a casual setting. Another speciality is our Floating Afternoon Tea with savoury and sweet treats and our Yummy Floating Breakfast.

Have you dreamt of exploring the local farms and back roads of Hua Hin by bicycle? Cycle and breathe in the fresh country air. There's even a short running track to pit yourself against your mates or family.

Do you have a pampered pet? Bundle up their bed and treats as we welcome pets.

Thailand - the Land of Smiles

Our Pattaya resorts are in more sophisticated and laid-back locations like Cross Pattaya Pratamnak, nestled in a quiet trendy green neighbourhood and just ten minutes to Central Pattaya.

Kanchanaburi is popular, especially with Aussies and Kiwis interested in delving into Hellfire Pass and Death Railway history. Cross River Kwai poised on the mighty River Kwai, is a great spot to base yourself.

Japan - the Land of the Rising Sun

Awaking after its long pandemic slumber, Japan is welcoming travellers. Away Okinawa Kouri Island Resort is located on a gorgeous hillside overlooking the emerald green sea, and a mesmerising escape from everyday life.

WTF?

You're thinking – "Where's The Food" (WTF), right?

Nothing brings people together like good food. Families, friends and couples get together to share great food, tell stories, celebrate and have fun times. As great as Mum's cooking is, we are all more switched on to the whole food scene.

Flick on the TV, and you'll find celebrity cooks creating mouthwatering dishes, competitions featuring chefs and home cooks, and food and travel shows. It's all about FOOD, FOOD, FOOD. Search Instagram, Tik Tok or any social media platform for cascades of photos, videos, recipes and the latest tips.

Front and centre are the Chefs. This profession has been elevated, and so too has their imagination, flair, creativity and professionalism. We eat with our eyes; however, top chefs know it has to taste great too. It's about quality ingredients, the intrinsic combination of flavours and seasoning, the exacting science of preparation and cooking, and the dish's balance.

Nearly 20 years ago, the 20th of October was designated International Chefs Day as a way to celebrate and illuminate this noble profession.

Chef Khem from Oxygen Dining Room at Cross Chiang Mai Riverside is the epitome of why we want to honour our Chefs. To be honest, Chef Kem is not one to extol his own virtues, but we will. Oxygen Dining Room, where he and his team's culinary skills shine, is featured in the Thailand Michelin Guide. An outstanding award and great recognition.

Let's learn more about Chef Khem.

List of Services

Chefs get their kicks by creating delicious meals, seeing the smile on a customer's face, getting awesome compliments, and being part of the kitchen family. Thank You, Chefs, and Happy International Chefs Day on 20 October. Bon Appetit.

I Googled My Symptoms, and the Prescription: The Beach House Legian

Feeling a bit lethargic, tired of the daily grind? Take a moment, and imagine you are at a beautiful beach. Listen to the soothing sounds of the waves, feel the warm sun on your skin, breathe the fresh salty air, relish the gentle breeze on your body, delight in the shades of blue and turquoise, caress your feet in the sand and delight in your soaring spirits.

A sea change relaxes, rejuvenates and re-energises and is way cheaper than therapy. One such spot that ticks all the boxes is The Beach House Legian. With direct access to one of Bali's most beautiful beaches, the Beach House is a fun and hip zone, keeping you entertained throughout the day.

List of Services

The Beach House is an absolute highlight when staying with us at Away Bali Legian Camakila. However, we have much more on offer. The resort is located between Legian Beach and the bustling shopping and entertainment precinct of Seminyak and Kuta, about 10 minutes away.

The accommodation reflects refined Balinese decor in a modern style, providing a delightful retreat. Our spacious guest rooms feature a balcony or terrace with pool or garden views and have the comfiest fine bedding and state-of-the-art entertainment system.

Salila Spa uses ancient Indonesian techniques, from full-body scrubs to calming massages, to leave you with a feeling of inner peace.

It seems water and Bali go hand in hand. In addition to the fabulous Beach House and the infinity pool is the resort pool, where you can jump straight in from many of our rooms. Legian Beach is another option.

Food, drink and holidays go hand in hand too. Azaa Restaurant has the yummiest and most incredible buffet breakfast, plus scrummy Balinese and international cuisine throughout the day. Room service is open 24 hours, plus the fabulous snacks and meals at the Beach House.

We've other goodies for you, like our Away Adventure Kits and Sunset Rituals. For international travellers, make sure you take advantage of the Hello Vacay promotion.

Cross Hotels & Resorts , a leading hospitality company based in Southeast Asia, is excited to announce its participation at the prestigious World Travel Market (WTM) 2024, taking place from 5 th to 7 th November at ExCeL, London, UK. With a remarkable portfolio of 28 outstanding hotels across Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Japan, Cross Hotels & Resorts features six distinct brands: Cross, Cross Vibe, Away, Lumen, Kaura, and Cross Collection. Recognised as the preferred hotel management operator in the APAC region for those seeking innovative alternatives to global chains, Cross Hotels & Resorts is rapidly expanding its presence in the hospitality industry . With ambitious plans to grow its portfolio from 28 to 100 hotels by 2030, the brand is poised to solidify its leadership position. Focusing on growth, technology integration, and a guest-centric approach, it aims to redefine the hospitality landscape in the years to come. From vibrant city hotels to tranquil luxury villa resorts, Cross Hotels & Resorts takes pride in curating unique experiences designed for discerning travellers across various segments, from leisure seekers to luxury enthusiasts. At WTM, Cross Hotels & Resorts is thrilled to announce a series of exciting developments, showcasing new openings across Southeast Asia, enhancements to existing properties, and updates on sustainability initiatives. These advancements highlight the brand’s commitment to delivering unique and personalised guest experiences in sought-after destinations, while ensuring sustainability remains at the forefront of its operations through eco-friendly practices and a dedication to responsible tourism. Cross Hotels & Resorts is addressing the growing concern of overtourism by shifting focus toward offering unique experiences in less-explored, under-the-radar neighbourhoods in popular destinations, reducing the impact on crowded tourist hubs while benefiting local communities. The company is committed to creating sustainable tourism models that distribute the benefits of travel more evenly. “We’re focused on developing properties in lesser-known areas that offer travellers a more authentic, immersive experience while alleviating the pressures on traditional tourist hotspots," explains Harry Thaliwal, CEO of Cross Hotels & Resorts. "For example, instead of simply staying in central Bangkok, we are promoting areas like Udomsuk and Srinakarin, vibrant neighbourhoods brimming with local culture, hidden gems, and excellent transport links, providing the perfect balance between city excitement and suburban tranquillity." By guiding tourists to these neighbourhoods, Cross Hotels & Resorts is working to reduce congestion and minimise environmental impact while fostering meaningful connections between visitors and local communities. This strategy not only mitigates waste and overcrowding but also supports local businesses and cultural initiatives, leading to long-lasting benefits for the area. By encouraging guests to venture beyond the typical tourist hotspots, Cross Hotels & Resorts enhances the travel experience for those seeking fresh perspectives after frequent visits to familiar destinations. This approach resonates particularly well with Gen Z travellers, who increasingly seek authentic adventures and meaningful interactions. Rather than sticking to crowded, well-trodden paths, this generation is drawn to destinations that offer opportunities to engage with local cultures, discover hidden gems, and enjoy personalised, sustainable travel experiences. By catering to these preferences, Cross Hotels & Resorts positions itself as a leader in the evolving hospitality landscape, prioritising both guest satisfaction and community well-being. Thaliwal concludes, "Our aim is to cater to these changing preferences by creating destinations that are not just accommodations but gateways to deeper cultural experiences, helping to redefine the future of travel while maintaining harmony with local ecosystems.”
